Burkett Needle - Smash and Grab

I enjoyed the production value and nice editing on this video. It's cool that they got some of their funding from the American Alpine Club's Cobb-Dash Inspire award.

Johnny Copp on Alpine Climbing

"Climbing is really, really ridiculously fun, except for when it's not."
Johnny Copp

I originally came across this video awhile ago, it's what inspired me to create this blog in the first place. It embodies everything I like about climbing and everything I look for in a good climbing video. Copp and Dash embodied alpine climbing to it's core.

A memorial fund has been created to help others climb like they did.

Enjoy the video.

Short Segment on Micah Dash and Johnny Copp

This is a great little video about Dash and Copp. They were known for pushing the limits of true alpine style climbing. Sadly they passed away in 2009 along with the associate producer of this video, Wade Johnson, while climbing in China.
