I've heard about mountaineering in Iran through the American Alpine Club, but never about the more specific disciplines. It looks to be a pretty well established sport, even with a school. I'm often forced to reminded myself that Iran is a country of diverse topography and an even more varied history. The video itself is over-produced, but generally entertaining.
